Will Biddick, 27, recorded his 200th career success when winning the Mixed Open at Barbury Racecourse on Following Dreams, who was completing an across-the-card double for trainer Alastair Ralph.

Will opened his account in 2004 on Let’s Fly at Stafford Cross, and has since taken his tally between the flags to 160. His 40 victories on licensed tracks include three when riding as a Conditional, and one on the flat at Wolverhampton in 2009.

Many of his successes have been for Venetia Williams, including Mon Mome in an Amateur Riders’ Chase at the 2006 Grand National meeting at Aintree, and Something Wells in the 2009 Freddie Williams Handicap Chase at the Cheltenham Festival.

Will has won the Men’s Point-to-Point championship for the last two campaigns, and he is currently sharing the lead in this season’s title race with Paddy Gerety and Robbie Henderson.
