Axe Vale Hunt Point to Point, 11am Saturday, after last nights rain the going is still good, more rain is forecast for later today and the weather for tomorrow looks good. Should be a great day for racing and spectators alike.

Friday 24th April 2015

Axe Vale Hunt Point to Point the going is officially Good after watering yesterday. If the rain that is forecast for today doesn’t arrive we will water again tomorrow to ensure good ground

Please be aware Axe Vale point to point pony racing starts at 12 noon – there are problems getting into the course when the ponies are running so race goers are asked to bear this in mind. The 148s go first at 12 with the 138s at 12.20. The course gates have to be shut when the ponies go to the start and in running for safety. The first point to point race is at 1,30pm so please plan your arrival accordingly.

Axe Vale Hunt Point to Point: After a good day watering yesterday the going is GOOD, will water tomorrow depending on the how much rain is forecast on Friday/Saturday.

Shirley Cork reports she has received the following update from clerk of the course for Axe vale. Going is good with firm patches. We will start watering on Saturday.

Shirley Cork reports the Stafford Cross going is good with all fences looking superb. They will water if required and will provide an update as soon as they need to start. They have Pony Racing and the course is an ideal place for picnics in the sun!
