Keith Granger has provided the following going update this morning, the ground is Good with Good to Soft Patches this morning, a band of some sort of rain due to come across us tomorrow evening/Friday morning.

Keith Granger TFH Point to point secretary, announced today that ….”the course looks great, with 6 inches of grass, and all the fences are now out. The ground is given as soft, with good to soft in places.
We are expecting large numbers of spectators to the meeting this Sunday 24th, with a very good number of entries for the meeting
The 3rd race, with the £1000 prize, has attracted horses and trainers from all over the south of England, and from over the Welsh border!

Stafford Sampson, Clerk of the Course for Chipley Park gives the going as Soft, with soft patches for the Tiverton next Sunday

Keith Granger reports the team were working on the Chipley Park course yesterday, ahead of the Tiverton Point-To-Point on Sunday 24th January, the going was soft, good to soft in places, 6” of grass and all going well.
The Tiverton have put their Restricted Race prize money up to £550 and their big race, the Mixed Open, is now in effect a £1200 race which should all in all make it a varied day with sponsors like Dodson & Horrell, The Thoroughbred Breeders’ Association (TBA) and Exeter Racecourse joining local sponsors:
