Due to the exceptionally busy Easter weekend pony racing calendar, the East Cornwall are holding one amalgamated race, off at 12,45pm, on Saturday.
Prizes will be given for the first 138 and first 148 past the post, as well as rosettes.
It’s a great chance for riders to boost their points for the Exeter Racecourse supported point to point points series, as riders submit their best eight results at the end of the season.
Three of the younger riders will battle for the 138s, Chad Bament the most experienced, on Ginger Wizard, Walter Fisher Barnett on Wide Valley Superman and Taylor Fisher on Hideaway Evening Star.
Two of the most experienced riders, and cousins, Michael Treneer, on Tarka, and Tamby Welch, on Vadlawalkover, will race for the 148 trophy.
The 138cms & 148cms OPEN races have been amalgamated into one race which will be run over 5f.
The races will take place BEFORE the point-to-point racing
