Black Forest Lodge Point to Point course closure

Update: 6th September 2016

The Devon and Cornwall Point to Point Secretaries Association is making positive progress to relocate the three fixtures lost due to the unfortunate closure of the Black Forest Lodge Point to Point course last week.

The three PTP committees affected all have options to run on other courses and we and they are in discussions with the respective land owners, the host hunts and the resident PTP fixture committees already racing on those courses to agree terms to run the additional fixtures. As you can appreciate, these discussions are very sensitive and will not be concluded until early next week at the latest but we realise the urgency required and we will keep everyone informed as soon as decisions have been approved by everyone concerned.

The Devon and Cornwall Point to Point Secretaries Association regret to announce the immediate closure of the Black Forest Lodge Point to Point course.

The land has just recently been sold and unfortunately the new owners are unable to allow racing to continue at this popular course. All efforts are being made to re arrange the 3 fixtures previously scheduled at Black Forest for this coming season and it is hoped that we will be able to announce a positive statement later this week.
