After heavy showers today, Wednesday, the ground for Sunday 28th is now soft with good to soft patches, however forecast is for little or no rain for the next 3 days so no problems envisaged Keith

All systems go for Sunday 28th 1st race 12 noon. Looking great at the moment all fences out and cut off, 4-5″ grass and the ground today was good to soft, soft in places. Trusting another good entry on its way as it does seem to be very popular. See you all then. Keith

With the Point-to-Point season back in full swing, the stunning location of Chipley Park is where the Tiverton Foxhounds will host their meeting, this coming Sunday January 28th. Set in over 90 acres of parkland this has been a popular venue since the year 2000. Seven races are on offer with a start time of 12 noon. 124 entries have been received
There are many trade stands which include a Venison and Buffalo Burger stand, Taunton Cider and Zara’s Country Accessories which could be ideal for ladies looking for Cheltenham Festival wear. Bookies, bar and hot food are available. Entrance to the course is £10 per person up to £30 per car, with children under 16 free. Dogs on leads are welcome. The organisers would like to give a mention to many of the sponsors who have helped in funding the day, which include Matford Landrover, A.J.D.Nash, Pennymore Timber, John Dorse Hay & Straw, Simon & Annabel Brooks-Ward vet team, The Hartnoll Hotel Tiverton and The Keepers Cottage Kentisbere.
The course is located of the B3167 3 miles from Wellington and 1mile from Milverton. Postcode TA21 0QY.
