Saturday 24th March

Following persistent rain today the going at Kilworthy is now heavy as of 18:54.

The secretary reports that the Kilworthy going is now Soft and everything looking good for the Lamerton Point-To-Point tomorrow

Latest Kilworthy going report- Soft and drying nicely.

Monday 19th March

We have been working on the course today and the snow has all gone. The ground has been drying all day and wings will be going up tomorrow. We will keep you updated.

Latest update on Kilworthy. A drying day yesterday, a light covering of snow today if that goes away tomorrow Tuesday is dry so looking good.


New Course Layout

After several weeks of wet and snowy conditions, Point-to-Point racing looks to be back on track in the Devon & Cornwall Area, when this weekend it’s the turn of the Lamerton to host their event at Kilworthy, near Brentor, Tavistock on Sunday March 25th . Six races are on offer with the first off at 1pm. Over 100 entries have been received.

The course offers a great location for a family day out. On course facilities include bar, bookies, hot and cold refreshments and plenty of trade stands.

Entrance to the course is £10 per person maximum £30 per car with children under 16 free. Dogs on leads welcome. The course is located at Kilworthy near Brentor, Tavistock. PL19 0JX
