Preview extract
The Moores of St Wenn-sponsored Men’s Open race could see entries Broadclyst (R Chanin) and Navanman (J Heard) battle out the gruelling uphill finish, both having started the season off well with wins at Buckfastleigh last month. Broadclyst had won his Maiden and Restricted races at this track last season for the Chanin team, together with a head win in the Intermediate race at Buckastleigh, he looks to be able to go close. Navanman’s win in the Mixed Open at Flete last season was impressive, then coming out to win a Mixed Open at Buckfastleigh last month could give him the edge here.
