Navanman also holds an entry in the Opening Members race which has been sponsored by The Rangemoors & Ashgrove Kitchen co. It could be a popular family win for the Heard family, and could see him follow up on his recent win at Milborne St Andrew last month under jockey Bryan Carver. River Myth could be a likely challenger, but would need to find a couple of lengths improvement, as had to settle for second when the two met at Charlton Horthorne last month.

Exeter Racecourse sponsor the Intermediate race in which Crown Of Thorns (Sarah Pidsley) is one to note, and could give jockey Will Biddick the crown for riding the most ever wins ridden in a Point-to-Points by a jockey. Manofmanywords out of the Camilla Scott yard could be the one to deny the crown for now, having recently won a 15 runner Restricted at Cothelsone by six lengths, under jockey Bryan Carver, with both horse and jockey showing good progression.

Minimalistic out of Nikki Frost’s yard, stands out as an entry in the Hammett Financial-sponsored Restricted race having progressed quickly this season with two wins at the Buckfastleigh track, and may have needed a break when finishing third at Cherrybrook. Neetside (Jill Dennis) was unlucky to be carried out when travelling well at Flete Park last weekend and could run well here. Five Gold Bars (Robert Hawker) could progress after his two length win at Kilworthy in March and is another for the short list.

Finally up is the Confined race in which Kernal Victor could defy top weight and steal this, and bag another for the Ed Walker team to follow up on his eight length win at Cherrybrook earlier this month. River Myth (Stuart Sampson) holds an entry here too, and connections may prefer this race as an option to follow up on her Confined win at Cherrybrook, rather than the earlier Members race.
