The Four Burrow are to hold their second meeting of the season at the popular Trebudannon course near Newquay on Sunday May 13. There are seven races on offer which have attracted over 70 entries. This is a popular course for maiden horses and we are bound to see some stars of the future emerge from having their debut runs here.

This course offers fabulous viewing and a great party atmosphere attracting families enjoying picnics. On course facilities are Hot food and refreshments, bar, bookies and trade stands. Entrance to the course is £10 per person Children under 16 go free. The course is located at St Columb Major signed off A30 & A39. TR9 4LP

Trebudannon situated near St Columb Major in Cornwall, is where the re-arranged Point-to-Point meeting is to be hosted by The Four Burrow takes place this Saturday 28th April. There are seven races on offer with 82 entries received. The first race is due off at 2pm.

This venue offers a lovely amphitheatre type setting, offering good viewing of the course, attracting a good picnic crowd, with on course facilities offering fabulous food, hot and cold refreshments, along with bar, bookies and trade stands. Entrance to the course is £10 per person, with children under 16 free. Dogs on leads welcome. Location is at St Columb Major, (signed off A30 and A39 – TR9 4LP).

Bratton Down, beautifully located on the edge of Exmoor, is the setting for the Tiverton Staghounds meeting this Sunday (June 11th). This is the penultimate weekend of the point-to-point season.

An  excellent entry of 120 for the six races promises top class point-to-point racing at this most scenic venue.

On course facilities include a number of trade stands, hot food and refreshments, bar and bookies all contributing to the atmosphere of the day. Entrance to the course is £10 per car and driver, £10 per passenger up to a max of £30 per car. Children under 16 free and dogs on leads welcome.

The course is located at Bratton Down, Bratton Fleming 9m NE of Barnstaple on A399, 11m N of South Molton EX31 4SG.

This coming weekend will see the first of three Point-to-Point meetings to be held at the popular Bratton Down Course on Sunday 21st May. Race-goers not only enjoy the stunning location of the course which has a backdrop view of Exmoor to boast, but also some exciting racing with seven races on offer which start at 2pm. Three pony races, which are sponsored by Victor and Gerald Dartnall precede the main race card which head up the action at 12.45pm. The weather looks fair this weekend and Point-to-Point racehorse enthusiasts will be pleased to see their sport getting back on track, with the Spooners & West Dartmoor hosting their fixture at Cherrybrook this coming Sunday April 9th.

This is an ideal picnic venue with many parties overflowing from the Grand National staged the day before.

The course will virtually all be new ground with the first fence not having been jumped this season, and fences 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 moved to new ground – only the ditch can’t be moved.
